I've been thinking about 2009. I love fresh starts. I have hope of what the new will bring... growth, joy, perspective, excitement of new adventure. Yet... I haven't finished 2008. I haven't finished December 10th of 2008. All too often I look towards the future, completely ignoring the present. The adventure of opportunities in today. The lessons I'm learning in this moment. The joys that surround me now. Jesus, I just want to finish today well... and look forward to the fresh start of tomorrow.
